Basketball Recap: Saturday's Victory Is Carlsbad's Third in Last Four Outings

Carlsbad won the last time they faced Mayfield and things went their way on Saturday too. The Carlsbad Cavemen/Cavegirls walked away with a 67-58 victory over the Mayfield Trojans.

Carlsbad has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Mayfield, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-9.

Carlsbad will welcome Lovington at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lovington has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 187 points over their last three matches. As for Mayfield, they are taking a road trip to take on Silver at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
