On Friday, Pinecrest Academy Cadence faced Arbor View in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Pinecrest Academy Cadence Cougars walked away with a 26-14 victory over the Arbor View Aggies. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

It was another big night for Leyton Gasperosky, who threw for 339 yards and four touchdowns while completing 79.4% of her passes. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in passing yards. Danielle Maurer did her part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 52 receiving yards.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Maurer and Alia Bindrup.

Although Arbor View took the loss, they still got scores from Priscilla Garcia and Danielle Morales.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Arbor View, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence has already played their next game, a 20-0 victory against Las Vegas on the 3rd. As for Arbor View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 14-8 win against Clark on the 3rd.
