Whitehorse piles up the points against Northwest

Recap: Whitehorse Raiders vs. Northwest Falcons

The Whitehorse Raiders stacked a sixth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Northwest 70-19 on the road. Winning may never get old, but Whitehorse sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

Whitehorse found their leader in underclassman Harmony Thomas, who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Laila Etsitty, who scored ten points.

Whitehorse is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. As for Northwest, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Whitehorse will square off against Monument Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Northwest, they will head out on the road to face off against Coronado at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Mexico (Coronado is ranked 124th, while Northwest is ranked 144th).
