Volleyball Recap: Hesston Triumphs

Hesston won the last time they faced Larned and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Swathers came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0.

Hesston never let Larned on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 26-24.

Callie Yoder was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted over her last seven matchups.

Hesston's record now sits at 11-5. As for Larned, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Coincidentally, Hesston and Larned will both be playing Smoky Valley the next time they take the court. The Indians will host the Vikings on Tuesday, while the Swathers will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
