Soccer Game Preview: East Hamilton vs. Merrol Hyde Magnet

The East Hamilton Hurricanes will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Merrol Hyde Magnet Hawks at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. East Hamilton's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

East Hamilton fell victim to Hixson and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wildcats. That's two games in a row now that the Hurricanes have lost by exactly two goals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Merrol Hyde Magnet, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They had just enough and edged out McGavock 4-3.

Merrol Hyde Magnet hit McGavock with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Matthew Henderson (2), Kieran Stamm, and Nash Murphy.

The win got Merrol Hyde Magnet back to even at 1-1. As for East Hamilton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.
