The Lafayette Central Catholic Knights scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 75-59 win over Faith Christian. Given Lafayette Central Catholic's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 105th, while Faith Christian is ranked 365th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Lafayette Central Catholic found their leader in underclassman Mikey Stapleton, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Ray Clayton was another key contributor, almost dropping a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds.

When it comes to explaining why Faith Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Joe Peter. Despite the final result, he scored 20 points along with four steals. Faith Christian is facing Clinton Central at the right time seeing as Clinton Central is stuck on a 12-game losing streak.
