Gabrielino's loss ends seven-game winning streak at home

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Gabrielino Eagles can now relate to. They fell 55-43 to the Panthers on Wednesday. Gabrielino's defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Gabrielino lost, one person who can't be blamed is Alex Hoe. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Darius Eslava, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.

Gabrielino's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 17-11. As for Polytechnic, their victory bumped their record up to 18-9.

Gabrielino does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Polytechnic is on the road again on Saturday and plays Milken at 8:00 p.m. on February 10th.
