Softball Recap: Walhalla Takes a Loss

Walhalla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pendleton Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-0 defeat back in April.

Walhalla saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mara Chappell, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Gabbie Bonnadies was another, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

Walhalla's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for Pendleton, their victory bumped their record up to 9-13.

As of now, neither Walhalla nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
