Recap: Kettering Captains vs. Walled Lake Western Warriors
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but the Kettering Captains ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Walled Lake Western and snuck past 55-53. The score was all tied up 25-25 at the break, but Kettering was the better team in the second half.
Kettering's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Diego Rocha, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 17 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nathan Bisnett, who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds and 5 steals.
The victory got Kettering back to even at 1-1. As for Walled Lake Western, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Kettering will head out on the road to face off against South Lyon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Walled Lake Western, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Walled Lake Northern at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
