Lima Christian is 9-1 against Rochester Prep since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. After both having extra time off, both will dust off their jerseys to square off against one another at 6:00 p.m. Lima Christian will be strutting in after a win while Rochester Prep will be coming in after a loss.

Lima Christian is headed into the matchup after thoroughly thrashing Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter: they outscored them in every quarter. Everything went Lima Christian's way against Eugenio Maria de Hostos Charter two weeks ago as Lima Christian made off with a 62-41 victory.

Lima Christian found their leader in sophomore Alyssa Marsh, who dropped a triple-double on 29 points, 14 boards, and ten steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Marsh has scored at least a third of Lima Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Sophy Britton, who posted nine points and five rebounds.

Lima Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 22 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since the start of last season.

Meanwhile, Rochester Prep was beaten by Eastridge 76-9 two weeks ago. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Rochester Prep and nudges their season record down to 1-4. As for Lima Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Lima Christian was able to grind out a solid victory over Rochester Prep in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, winning 59-50. Does Lima Christian have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rochester Prep turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
