Football Recap: Trinity Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Trinity Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 33-0 loss at the hands of the Orangewood Christian Rams.

Leading Orangewood Christian to victory were Abigail Longstaff and Paige McClarnon. Longstaff rushed for 117 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 carries, while McClarnon rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. McClarnon also deserves a shoutout for her performance on D, picking up a sack and making three total tackles.

Trinity Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Orangewood Christian, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Coming up, Trinity Christian Academy is taking a road trip to face off against Faith Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Orangewood Christian, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Liberty at 5:30 p.m.
