South Central lost to Lucas back in December of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The South Central Trojans secured a 59-54 W over the Lucas Cubs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Trojans.

Despite the loss, Lucas still got an impressive performance from Zac Winters, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 13 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Maloney, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds.

South Central's victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1. As for Lucas, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

South Central will venture away from home to square off against Plymouth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lucas, they will challenge Crestview at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
