2014-15 Photos of the Year: The best of high school sports captured by MaxPreps photographers

Slideshow highlights amazing images taken by our network of freelance photographers around the nation.

With a new high school sports year gearing up, we take a look back at the top photos from 2014-15 as captured by freelance photographers who are members of the MaxPreps Professional Photographers' Network.

We asked photographers in the network to submit their three best photos from this past sports year — taken between Aug. 1, 2014 and June 30, 2015 — from galleries published on MaxPreps.

We have pared those submissions down to the best 20 images of the year, which are displayed in no particular order.
