Softball Recap: Osakis Takes a Loss

Osakis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of the Upsala Cardinals. Even if the Silverstreaks couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

Osakis' defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Upsala, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osakis will welcome Royalton at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The Silverstreaks are facing the Royals at the right time seeing as the Royals are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Upsala, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Menahga at 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
