Southington had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Westhill Vikings 4-3. The win was just business as usual For Southington, who after 23 games remain undefeated this season.
Frank Boutot Jr. was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. Boutot Jr. was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with a stolen base, a double, and an RBI.
