Football Game Preview: Simon Kenton vs. Campbell County

Simon Kenton have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They take on Campbell County at Campbell County High School at 7:00 PM. If the game is anything like the 65-40 finish from the last time they met, the scorekeeper will be kept real busy.

Last Saturday, Simon Kenton put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were the clear victor by a 39-7 margin over Boone County. Junior Austin Hammack was the offensive standout of the match for Simon Kenton, as he rushed for 128 yards and 1 touchdown.

As for Campbell County, they had a rough outing against Mt. Healthy two weeks ago, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Campbell County snuck past Conner with a 13-9 win.

Everything went Simon Kenton's way against Campbell County the last time the two teams met as they made off with a 65-40 victory.
