Basketball Recap: Amherst Takes a Loss

Amherst was the 46-36 winner over Menominee Indian when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Amherst Falcons fell 46-38 to the Menominee Indian Eagles on Friday.

Amherst has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season. As for Menominee Indian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-8.

Amherst will square off against Freedom at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Menominee Indian, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Menominee Indian Eagles challenge the Iola-Scandinavia Thunderbirds at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
