Football Recap: Brookville Comes Up Short

The Brookville Bees were just a hair shy of victory on Friday and fell 27-26 to the Alleghany Cougars. While the Bees didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Cougars 14-7 in the first quarter.

Brookville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Brookville will welcome Halifax County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Alleghany, they will venture away from home to take on Greenbrier East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
