Volleyball Recap: Kaitlyn Bryant and Ally Buffa Secure Win for North Royalton

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Nordonia, North Royalton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Solon Comets by a score of 3-1. The Bears haven't had any issues with the Comets recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

North Royalton walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-8, 19-25, 25-17.

North Royalton was led to victory by Ally Buffa and Kaitlyn Bryant. Buffa had 11 digs and four assists, while Bryant had seven digs and one assist. Buffa is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 12 games she's played. Alex Sutkowski also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

North Royalton was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. They are 4-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

The win got North Royalton back to even at 8-8. As for Solon, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-17.

North Royalton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Olmsted Falls on the 1st. As for Solon, they will host Brecksville-Broadview Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
