Trinity Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-2-2. As for Cary Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Trinity Academy took their victory against Cary Christian when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 9-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
