Basketball Recap: CHSA Homeschool Gets Big Win over Higher-Ranked Episcopal

CHSA HomeSchool won against Kinkaid last Tuesday with 63 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. The CHSA HomeSchool Wolverines had just enough and edged the Episcopal Knights out 63-60. The win was all the more spectacular given the Wolverines' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 753rd, while the Knights are ranked 158th).

CHSA HomeSchool has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-15 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points over those games. As for Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-9.

CHSA HomeSchool will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on HBCU Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on February 18th. As for Episcopal, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 84-14 win against Salt and Light Homeschool on the 7th.
