Basketball Game Preview: Tomball Cougars vs. Lake Ridge Eagles

Having just played yesterday, the Tomball Cougars will jump right back in to play the Lake Ridge Eagles at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Tomball has given up an average of 66 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tomball is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Thursday. They lost to Fort Bend Bush on the road by a 62-47 margin.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Ridge). They blew past Aldine, posting an 89-33 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

Tomball better focus on containing Ashton Parker and Roman Dulin as the pair were huge in Lake Ridge's win. Parker went 6-for-8 on his way to 14 points and five steals, while Dulin shot 63% from the field to rack up 14 points. Dulin has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Onie Lewis was another key player, putting up six points and five assists.

Tomball's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Lake Ridge, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
