Wheatland-Grinnell came tearing into Saturday's contest with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Western Plains Bobcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 two weeks ago.

Wheatland-Grinnell easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-19.

Wheatland-Grinnell's victory bumped their record up to 27-13. As for Western Plains, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-17 record this season.

Wheatland-Grinnell wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Victoria on the 25th. Western Plains does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
