Basketball Recap: Ada Takes a Loss

If Ada was feeling good fresh off their 50-25 takedown of North Baltimore last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Ada Bulldogs fell just short of the Temple Christian Pioneers by a score of 51-49 on Saturday. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pioneers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Ada's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Temple Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ada will take on Lima Central Catholic in a tournament on Friday. Lima Central Catholic is on a six-game streak of home wins, Ada a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Temple Christian, they will take on Upper Scioto Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
