Volleyball Recap: Tri-Cities Bulldogs vs. Woodward Academy War Eagles
Tri-Cities was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Woodward Academy War Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2021.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10.
Tri-Cities' loss dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Woodward Academy, the victory (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 28-1.
Tri-Cities will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Banneker at 5:30 p.m. As for Woodward Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win vs. Chamblee on the 24th.
