Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lawson). Their defense stepped up to hand the Hume-Fogg Blue Knights a 9-0 shutout on Wednesday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Lawson considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Lawson pushed their record up to 6-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three matches. As for Hume-Fogg, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4-2.

Looking ahead, Lawson is taking a road trip to challenge Green Hill at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hume-Fogg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Summit at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
