Softball Recap: Iroquois West Comes Up Short

Iroquois West lost against Milford last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Raiders fell just short of the Bearcats by a score of 8-6.

Amelia Scharp was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Honeycutt, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Iroquois West's defeat dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Milford, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-9.

As of now, neither Iroquois West nor the Bearcats have any future games scheduled.
