Volleyball Recap: EF Academy Takes a Loss

EF Academy lost against Chadwick back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hawks came up short against the Dolphins, falling 3-0.

While EF Academy was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Chadwick's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-8, 25-15.

Leading Chadwick to victory were Olivia Simms and Emma Landsberg. Simms had eight digs and four aces, while Landsberg had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Landsberg a new career-high.

EF Academy has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season. As for Chadwick, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

EF Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Polytechnic on the 25th. As for Chadwick, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against North on the 19th.
