Volleyball Recap: Minatare Takes a Loss

Minatare lost against Hemingford back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bobcats. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-8.

Jimena Perez paced Minatare's offense, picking up three kills. Perez got some help from Yoselin Reyes and her two assists.

Minatare's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Hemingford, their victory ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 10-8.

Minatare wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Hay Springs on the 4th. As for Hemingford, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Crawford on the 6th.
