Baseball Recap: CSTHEA Takes a Loss

CSTHEA came into this matchup off a tough ten-run defeat last Monday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Chattanooga Christian Chargers by a score of 9-7 on Thursday. The Patriots were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

CSTHEA got a big performance out of Pierse Jackson, who scored two runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Jackson has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times he's played. Bryce Daniell was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases and two RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for CSTHEA and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Chattanooga Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

CSTHEA will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Rocket City at 12:00 p.m. on March 22nd. As for Chattanooga Christian, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 8-7 win against Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts on the 7th.
