Football Game Preview: Cypress Falls Eagles vs. Cinco Ranch Cougars + How To Watch

The Cypress Falls Eagles will take on the Cinco Ranch Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a seven-game winning streak alive.

Cypress Falls is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Bellaire 63-3. That 60 point margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

A big part of Cypress Falls' win came down to the chemistry between Christian Ndujiuba and his top target Andre Lewis. Ndujiuba threw for 179 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 passes while Lewis picked up 119 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. The dominant performance also gave Lewis a new career-high in receiving touchdowns (two). Another player making a difference was Bryce Marshall, who rushed for 62 yards and one score on only six carries.

Cypress Falls was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 256 rushing yards. They are 7-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Cypress Falls didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Juelz St. Fleur and Liam Madkins.

Meanwhile, Cinco Ranch made easy work of Fulshear on Friday and carried off a 47-21 victory.

Cypress Falls better keep an eye on Marcus Gadlin. He was instrumental in Cinco Ranch's win, rushing for 146 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry. Brayden Gonzalez was in the mix as well, providing the Cougars with two TDs.

Cypress Falls' record is now 8-3. As for Cinco Ranch, their record now sits at an identical 8-3.

Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Cypress Falls has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 247.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Cinco Ranch struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 149 rushing yards.
