Basketball Recap: Frontier Comes Up Short

Frontier lost against North White back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Frontier Falcons came up short against the North White Vikings, falling 38-17. The Falcons were down 35-15 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Ashlyn Minniear was Frontier's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Madyson Mears held things down on the boards with 12 rebounds. Kendall Bridwell took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Autumn Reif continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for North White, dropping a double-double with 23 points and 13 rebounds. Reif also grabbed six steals, which is notable because North White is undefeated when she posts at least five steals, but 5-14 otherwise.

Frontier's defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-19. As for North White, their win bumped their record up to 8-14.

Frontier didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 52-33 loss against Rossville on the 7th. As for North White, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 51-27 victory against South Newton on the 5th.
