Roosevelt entered their tilt with Wellington on Wednesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Eagles 13-1. The result was nothing new for the Roughriders, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Roosevelt got a big performance out of Stevie Kreimer, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Luke Unruh also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Roosevelt pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Wellington, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Roosevelt has already played their next game, a 9-6 loss against Severance on the 12th. As for Wellington, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-7 win against Greeley Central on the 12th.
