Soccer Recap: Pewaukee Comes Up Short

Pewaukee was the 2-1 winner over Waukesha North when they last played one another back in August of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Pirates fell just short of the Northstars by a score of 4-3 on Monday. Pewaukee have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Pewaukee's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Waukesha North, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3-2 and their overall record up to 3-6-2.

Pewaukee and Waukesha North could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Pirates (ranked 128th) will meet Germantown (ranked 33rd) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Waukesha North will challenge Wauwatosa East at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank disadvantage (183 vs. 11).
