Basketball Recap: Cranfills Gap Comes Up Short

Cranfills Gap was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were dealt a 66-29 defeat at the hands of the Jonesboro Eagles. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-39 back in January.

Cranfills Gap's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Jonesboro, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Cranfills Gap Lions duke it out with the Aquilla Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Jonesboro has already played their next matchup (against Gholson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
