Baseball Recap: Sullivan Takes a Loss

Sullivan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans, falling 13-3.

Sullivan saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Fallon Rose, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI.

Sullivan's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, their victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sullivan will venture away from home to square off against Heritage at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Hawks will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for St. Joseph-Ogden, they will head out to face off against Paxton-Buckley-Loda at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
