Volleyball Recap: Northside Christian's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Northside Christian entered their tilt with Ponte Vedra on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Sharks.

Northside Christian's offense was headlined by Brielle Nestor and Leah Richason, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Elle Smith and her 23 assists. Aaliyah Cancellari controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Ponte Vedra still got an impressive performance from Avery Webb, who had nine digs and three aces. Webb is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Northside Christian now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Ponte Vedra, their loss dropped their record down to 9-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northside Christian will face off against Academy of the Holy Names at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ponte Vedra, they will square off against Trinity Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
