Volleyball Recap: FAU High Has No Trouble Against Suncoast

The FAU High Owls got the win against the Suncoast Chargers on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Owls.

FAU High didn't let Suncoast take a single set, but it sure wasn't easy: every set was decided by three points or less. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-23, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Suncoast saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Amelie Rave had 12 digs and three aces. Sofia Guzman also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

FAU High's victory bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Suncoast, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 7-17.

FAU High wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Don Soffer Aventura on the 9th. As for Suncoast, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against South Fork on the 9th.
