Basketball Recap: Aberdeen's Win Ends Eight-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Aberdeen's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Centralia Tigers by a score of 63-54. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 70-41 on January 8th.

Jhacob Quezada had a dynamite game for Aberdeen, putting up 28 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Isaac Garcia, who went 8 for 20 en route to 17 points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Aberdeen's win ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-8. As for Centralia, they dropped their record down to 2-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Aberdeen won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Rochester at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Aberdeen is facing Rochester at the right time seeing as Rochester is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Centralia, they will challenge Tumwater at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
