Soccer Game Preview: Beaufort vs. Bluffton

For the first time this season, Beaufort will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against the Bluffton Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Beaufort lost 4-1 to John Paul II on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Beaufort were already down 4-1.

Meanwhile, Bluffton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was Oceanside Collegiate Academy who was credited with the victory. The Landsharks got it done in the shootout by posting six goals to Bluffton's five.

Ricardo Angulo wasn't going to let Oceanside Collegiate Academy walk away unscathed as he scored both of the Bobcats' goals, bringing his season total up to two goals.

Beaufort now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Bluffton, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Beaufort suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Bluffton when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
