Basketball Recap: Irvington Piles Up the Points Against Galt

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Irvington). They blew past the Galt Warriors 93-30 on Thursday. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 31 points or more this season.

Galt's loss came despite strong showings from Bryan Villalobos and Hunter Hileman. Villalobos posted 11 points, while Hileman earned six points.

The victory got Irvington back to even at 5-5. As for Galt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.

Irvington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 63-50 win against Gilroy on the 19th. As for Galt, they will be home for the holidays to greet McNair at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
