Softball Recap: Clinton Drops Highest Score of Season Against Warren Central

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clinton). They were the clear victors by a 24-10 margin over the Warren Central Vikings on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Arrows in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won four in a row.

EstrElla Constancio was a standout: she went 1-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Keelyn Constancio, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI and two runs.

Clinton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .632. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Clinton pushed their record up to 17-11 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for Warren Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.

As of now, neither Clinton nor the Vikings have any future games scheduled.
