Sheyenne faced Shanley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Mustangs never let the Deacons get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for Sheyenne, who have now won four matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Sheyenne's third in a row) raised their record to 9-3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three matches. As for Shanley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-3-3.
