After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wheeling Central Catholic, Tyler was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Everything went their way against the Oak Glen Golden Bears as they made off with an 8-1 victory. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by six runs or more this season.
Brayden Neff and Brennon Miller made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Neff didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over 4.2 innings pitched. Meanwhile, Miller pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. At the plate, Neff went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double, while Miller went 2-for-3 with one RBI. That's the most hits Miller has posted since back in April.
In other batting news, Gabe Jackson was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Isaac Jackson was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
