Baseball Recap: Louisville Comes Up Short

Louisville was the 3-0 winner over University School when they last played one another back in June of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The Leopards fell just short of the Preppers by a score of 4-3 on Saturday. The Leopards have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Zander Tripplett made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that he launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Rice, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Louisville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for University School, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.

Coming up, Louisville will face off against Lake at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for University School, they will take on St. Edward at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
