Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost three straight ) but thanks in part to Mikey Millikan that streak is no more. The Braves skirted past Harrison 3-2 for which the team can thank Millikan, who had 19 digs and five assists. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games he's played.
Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory took Harrison into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 19-25, 19-25, 15-10.
Meanwhile, Warren Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Shelbyville.
While Warren Central ultimately came up short, they really made Shelbyville work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-17, 27-25.
Warren Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory, their victory bumped their record up to 4-7.
