Football Recap: Walnut Hills Eagles vs. Lebanon Warriors
Walnut Hills lost against Lebanon back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eagles were outmatched by the Warriors and fell 42-8. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 374th, while the Warriors are ranked 80th).
Will Rivers threw for 216 yards on 15 of 27 attempts. Jason Nicholas was his top target, picking up 59 receiving yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Walnut Hills and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Lebanon, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
