Baseball Recap: Smithville Seminoles vs. Jumpertown Cardinals
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Smithville). Everything went their way against the Jumpertown Cardinals on Friday as they made off with a 13-2 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Seminoles considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Peyton Cook made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Cook was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high.
