Basketball Game Preview: Nandua Warriors vs. Norfolk Christian Ambassadors

The Nandua Warriors will challenge the Norfolk Christian Ambassadors at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Nandua and six for Norfolk Christian.

Nandua is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Middlesex on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Nandua took a blow against Middlesex, falling 73-30. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-11.

Meanwhile, Norfolk Christian came up short against Cape Henry Collegiate on Thursday and fell 77-68. While losing is never fun, the Ambassadors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Dolphins are ranked 102nd).

Norfolk Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Nandua, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
