Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miller). Everything went their way against the Fontana Steelers on Tuesday as the Miller Rebels made off with an 8-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Rebels in their matchups with the Steelers: they've now won three in a row.

Liam Good was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run over six innings pitched. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single earned run, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in February of 2024. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nathan Lora, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Miller kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fontana only managed five hits.

Miller's record now sits at 3-4. As for Fontana, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Miller will challenge Indian Springs at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Miller will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last. As for Fontana, they will be taking part in a tournament against Banning at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
